Vintage Stoneware Vases

from £10.00

These vintage stone vases are from the Victorian era and were originally used for storing ginger beer, polishes and inks for writing with quills. They were found buried underground in the South East of England, all of which are over 100 years old with some even dating back to 1860.

Each vessel is guaranteed to have marks, dents and chips and some of the glazes have weathered slightly differently making the colours mismatched too. But their blemishes are how they tell their stories… a testament to how well they made things back then.

The Antique White glazed vases were only in production for two years during this period so Ive only managed to source a few of them compared to the Classic Brown Stone or Two Tone style.

Here are the different options.

Antique White stone vases - three different sizes.

Large - 15cm x 7cm - £25

Medium - 12cm x 7cm - £20

Small - 10cm x 5cm - £15

Classic Tan stone vases - five different sizes.

Large - 20cm x 8cm - £25

Medium narrow necked - 16cm x 6.5cm - £20

Small wide necked - 13cm x 6cm - £15

Small - 12cm x 5cm - £15

Inkwell - 5cm x 5cm - £10

Two tone coloured vases - two different sizes.

Large - 20cm x 10cm - £25

Medium - 18cm x 7cm - £28

Id recommend only using the smaller vases for dried flowers and feathers because the glass stems will be too heavy and need the support of the larger vases to stop the stems from bending.

*We’re going on a mini honeymoon from 28th Feb - 5th March so all orders will be posted after we return, thank you in advance for your patience.
